In addition he also undertakes strategic command, as a key element of his operational role.

  • ACO Nina Griffiths - SMT Biographies AM Nina GriffithsNina joined TWFRS in 2000 and has held a number of positions which have contributed to the review and development of the service. Initially a Research Officer, then Head of Corporate Development, she became an Area Manager in 2007 with responsibility for strategic planning, risk and assets. Her current position as Area Manager for strategy and performance continues to have a strong emphasis on change management and organisational review.
  • AM John Pratt - SMT Biographies AM John PrattJohn joined TWFRS as an operational Firefighter in 1987. He progressed through several front line operational positions before moving into a career in training. He returned to service delivery in 2009 as Group Manager, progressing to his current position as Area Manager. He is responsible for all 17 community fire stations and also for the delivery of prevention and education. John also represents the service on the Emergency Service Mobile Communications programme.
