The Arson Task Force try to raise public awareness over the state of the local environment to reduce the incidences of refuse being available to the opportunist firesetter.
Fly tipping can also result in fires and we work with partner agencies to try and prevent and prosecute. The Arson Task Force is also actively involved with the monitoring and removal procedures for refuse by the Local Authority.
